Of course I love FAT BASTARDS but I also love subtleties that can be hidden.
Sines mixed w/ a Rhodes.
To keep the Rhodes on top I must layer w/ 2 zones. I have Solaris on a seperate zone w/ notes above C3 active.
This way the Rhodes doesn't get muddy in the low end by the sheer power of the Sine Oscillators.
I use Solaris for many styles of music.
This is from the movie " Porgy & Bess " starring Sidney Portier. Written by Charley Mingus, an incredible Bassist from the Cool School Jazz days.

Scope DSP cards
Scarbee's Rhodes
Solaris 5.0.8 w/ 6 Voice Polyphony
Scope MasterVerb Pro
Liquid Flanger on Rhodes by SDK Developer MCCY ( incredible sounding free plug ).

Sitting between 2 Barbetta Sona 32C's live, this sound is very hypnotic thanks to Solaris. My amatuer recording abilities and mp3's do not do this much justice.

Solaris in hardware will surely rule the world.

Amazing rendition! Joni Mitchell has a beautiful version of this song, featuring Jaco Pastorius on bass. It's on her album"Mingus". The sounds you get out of your software Solaris are always incredible. I can only imagine what the hardware version will sound like in the same room!

Glad you liked it mate.
Happy to see synths and jazz are in your heart.
Now imagine Jaco on a MIDI Bass w/ Solaris doing a " Portrait Of Tracy ".
Joni & Jaco were plain Class on that LP.
