54 patches after 1 month of Solaris

Post by kalaspace »

Solaris is the only synth with a true private forum and a lot of space to store presets.
Having consideration about community and the number of places to fill,
i think it is a good idea that everyone can share their creations, even if it's not perfect.

There are a lot of pads, because i am a pad lover ...

Found a couple of nuggets in your bank, so thanks a bunch.

BTW: Is there a patch volume parameter somewhere so as to lower the volume of, e.g., patches 42 and 43 and save the setting as part of the preset?

Couldn't you just lower the mix outs in the mixer section for each part? Too obvious? :|

The only way to balance Volume levels is by using the VCA Level (VCALev). You have to adjust each part in some ratio if more than one VCA is used. Not ideal, but that's what we have. (Originally I had a Program volume level that appeared in the main Preset Mode screen, but that never was implemented.)

Sorry for the volume problem.
Patches containing "!" means lower the volume :)

When sigma or log boost is used on multiple vca, 2 vcas having sigma same boost and same volume will not render the same volume when volume is lower than 100%,
i don't know if it is normal and i don't know if it is related to this bug viewtopic.php?f=19&t=16322

I have some weird problems with your patch #41 "FN Lead Funk Joy" - E3 sounds OK, E3flat is breaking up and D3 is just plain silent as is the rest downwards. Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry, my bad - I got it working; for some reason I had my joystick at the leftmost position when it really was centered. Once I touched it, everything went back to normal.
