When I was in Germany last, I asked the guy who is coding the preset management part, and what I found out is that each bank actually can hold 1000 presets! It's just that MIDI program select (and the Inc/Dec access from the front panel) are limited to 0-127. For the Frankfurt show, I was able to store presets in numbers above 127, and recall them from the keypad. What's interesting about this to me is that I can use preset locations 128-999 as a 'work area', and then pick through all the work candidates to form a final 0-127 bank for performance and presentation.
