Event Horizon (128 patches for the Solaris)

Post by Toby Emerson »

Demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUW5LRfzgvE

I've had a lot of fun the last few months learning the Solaris and creating patches. I still feel like there is a lot to learn but in the meantime here are 128 patches I have created for the beast.

Rather than charge for the set I decided to offer it up for free! However if you like it and feel like you will get good use out of it I would definitely appreciate any donations.

Thank you very much Toby,

I spent 1 hour on your 13 first sounds, very well designed.

The use of the joystick is simple and effective.

The bass are very impressive : you use and abuse the jaws for that wich seems to be the right path.

Now i have to work but i'll come back with more impressions.

Great! Thanks for the demo. Finally some more EDM style examples too.
But omg... 6:40, that sound made me become emotional, great chords btw. Kudos
John i'd suggest to add this to the Audio examples section on the home page.

Thanks very much Toby for posting the sounds! I just downloaded and sent you a donation (from my plutaproductions email address). Will upload to my Solaris soon and plan to spend time with them this weekend.

Cheers!

Toby's preset bank is absolutely incredible!

SHOW HIM THE MONEY.

Note to JB: Here is an example of wanting to have the location of the Joystick saved with the preset- I found that with switching presets nothing sounded if I had left the filter closed by having the joystick to the left. These patches should be front row center of any live demo!

I just noticed that too....
As when a certain Sub patch was inaudible, I just moved the joystick and I did once ask how to retain positions rather than center a while back.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions marzzz, and thanks again Toby for way too many presets to audtion.

My Cup runnuth over.

I made a donation to Toby as this is extremely good work he's offering us. Every Solaris owner should download and donate to thank him.

Thank you Toby for your excellent work,
i made a donation today.
Your sounds are the most usefull i found on the solaris until today, almost all of them are a source of inspiration and are highly playable.
