Standard and dirty analog sounds

I know solaris does amazing pads and WT sounds. What i miss from the demo's is some more simple (dirty/warm) VA kinds of sounds, contemporary sounds or (VA) modular mayhem. Mostly monophonic. I hope it's ignored because it's like "of course it can do simple stuff like that".

like this (picked this because there's explanation in what he does, although he's got some amazing gear at his disposal and this might not be 'simple')
https://soundcloud.com/btbyrd/a-sound-d ... lar-bass-1

or simpler

https://soundcloud.com/20sekunder/modular-bass
(i hear a nice reverb too, so ignore that)

Or listen to these basic xfront samples for the vermona perfourmer:

http://www.vermona.com/index.php/en_p4m.html
for instance "bassline bubbles". Simple but nice deep analog basses. Or "OSC FM", UpNDown

can the solaris do this /get close?

thanks (im on the waiting list for october so want to make sure it's as versatile as i think it is).

Hi M-Prod, after i read your tread i've made a little example of bass digital dirty sound.
It's a monophonic sound, so all the variation in the sound are only obtain playing the keyboard.

You'd have to add some sort of frequency modulation to the oscillator as well as the filter cutoffs to approach what the first example is doing.
The square wave he adds in is pretty dirty....make sure you use the Boost in the VCA section cranked up as well.

Merci for helping me out on this! .. Still sounds a bit friendly/polished to my ears, but way better refererence for judging simple/dirty analogue then anything I heard so far. I hear noise (i mean intentional noise oscillator) in the low freq's near the end am I right? If so could you record it without ? And I hear artefacts around 0.6 0.15 and 0.27 is that aliasing or some kind of modulation. Just wondering. And i'm really anxious to hear what happens if you apply John's tips. I guess boosting the vca takes away some of the polishedness.

And how about some simple bass sound (like from the vermona "xfront-bassline xxxxx" examples).

Yes there is a noise (S/H) oscillator.
The sort of aliasing is what i wish to have: i use for that a decimator.

Thanks,
Ah, a decimator, could have guessed it. I'm in the middle of a song full of decimators.

Bump. Could any Solaris owner help me with a few (more) simple analogue sound examples?

Thanks Toby, this is getting there! Keep 'm coming i would like to say. I like 'm even cleaner and more raw (IYKWIM). Could you maybe record the sound without the reverb?
