Isn't this the only "pot' on the Solaris? The others are just encoders.

The upside to any of these inconveniences is not once do we hear users unhappy with this FAT Bastards sound quality.
Well on forums there are those who never really played one that have opinions which are eaisly beaten into the ground by a demo using Solaris as a Lead or Polyphonic.

I simply ask the cackling Hen to reproduce a demo using their favorite Windows/Mac or hardware synth, their lack of a reply shows their ears are still functioning, however there's an alterior motive, or brain deficiency.

Happy Memorials Day.

We did investigate this...I also noticed some were more wobbly...the potentiometer being used for Master Volume is a high grade ALPS part, and so it's not in the pot itself, and when I checked the pot's shaft, it seemed stable enough. The best I could tell is that it might have been improved if we could have a taller shaft on the part, so as to give the rubber knob more 'shaft real estate', but this wasn't possible.

FWIW, my volume knob is just fine; but I leave it at maximum and adjust volume by MIDI or some other external source.

I can suggest running the digital out into an AES/EBU input therefore bypassing the knob completely.
I always liked using feet anyways, a hand not playing notes is a sin at my gigs, as it's a part that dropped out....

Ankyu.....

Hi. I've got this too. What was the outcome? It certainly much more wobbly that the rest.

I’ve seen this only once before, on a very early unit we had made for Messe. I’m guessing the pot has some problem with it - I have asked SC about any suggestions.

Don't think think this would count as a bug, but the volume knob on my unit was a bit wobbly from the time I received it. I haven't really used it much because I control the volume through a mixer. It doesn't turn down all the way smoothly. It doesn't slowly get quieter. It kinda cuts off abruptly. John is there any way to open the unit up and tighten it up. Don't have this problem with any of the other knobs. They all seem pretty tight and sturdy.
