I have a great ATA from A & S that fits perfectly for Solaris too. I wanted something for local gigs.

Gig bag makers are just accustomed to customers wanting to add protection to very expensive gear like a Stradavarious or Sumerian Clay Tablets.
They do it for love and obviously cost is not a consideration.

My solution was to get something close and have a neighbor who is a retired seamtress do the Panty Hose/Joystick trick and sew in the sides by adding the extra strip of Styro for a pedal compartment.

Deeper thought processes have won the day over outsourcing.

Gator GKB-61 is what I got after too many get back with you replies.
It allows a nice side space for pedals, has 2 wrap arounds to protect the keys and I use a panty hose shell on the joystick for added safety.
Costs....85 bucks.

I would have loved to see us get custom bags, even said I didn't mind paying 500 for an embroidered version to make it worth their time and efforts.
Probably better getting the QSC-K12 Tote bags and a Solaris gig bag all 3 x for 259 USD.

FWIW, if anyone wants to know, the QSC-K12s with Solaris and the SE-1/EML-101 combo just punishes the laptop/Receptor guys.
It's a blast going up against VSTl's. And to think they have thousands worth of synths and plug ins, for just a few bucks more could have been contenders..... 8)

I decided to get a generic gig bag and DIY it as this is the second manufacturer that talks the talk, but too busy to walk the walk.
But I understand the game.

When I don't want to work a certain gig I always say damn brotha', I'd really love to play your room, but we're booked. I'll get back to ya...

As long as Solaris is safe I can live w/o the designer clothes.... :|

Also comes with an M Audio Decal to cover the custom enbroidering to keep the mooches from risking getting caught stealing an inferior sweat shop product from Avid.
I will have it soon and share with my brothas; from other muthas'.
It's fierce, with custom innard for protecting our cherish one of a kind controllers.
