Hmmm . I'm not sure if this is the same but I could say that it's missing some fizz or dirt. Like the access virus has plenty. So there are high frequencies for sure but it's not that 'full'. More like super clean. For me it's the character of the solaris. But a bell like sound has quite some (very) high frequencies so if you really don't hear those, something must be wrong. Try listening some presets online (eg black octopus or robbert Wittek) and play them for yourself to see if there is a noticeable difference.

Ps I'f there something I have no problem with then it
Is to get solaris to cut through the mix..

SOUND OF SOLARIS

hi Guys

I just got Solaris and like it … but somehow I feel that Solaris is DARK sounding synth .. I own like 50 analog and digital synths .. and non of them have that dark top end !!
Solaris is FAT for sure and have bigger low end that most new synths ( VA or romplers) BUT top end is kinda really dark and I need to heavy EQ it to stand in mix like other synths … is that just character of Solaris , error, hidden bad top or something else ??
