Dynamic allocation would be great, but it seems that it was not practical for this project. I'm not sure why.
We are fixed to the architecture as we have it now, but the new Rev 2 board should give us a few more voices.

If I'm creating a patch that emulates an old synth I usually use a limited set of the facilities available (e.g. 2 oscillators, 1 filter, limited envelopes, LFOs etc).

Would it be possible to have a mode that limits the facilities available but gives you higher polyphony?
Fully dynamic would be nice but I imagine that'd be complex to implement, so I'm suggesting a single mode with fixed facilities.
