Neil, I think it needs a system update to address this. as to when that will be - the guy who would code this has been taking time off as a new dad, with his first child born a few weeks ago. I don't know what the German laws allow for parental leave from work, but I know he's got a couple of months off currently.

Hi all, with only a USB connection between Solaris and Mac running latest OS and Cubase I cannot solve the issue of midi feedback loops. Does anyone have a fix for this or will it only be solved in the next system update - and if so when will that be?

OK, good. I think I’ll start another topic about the need for channel 1.

Using regular MIDI cables should be fine for Program Changes, but make sure you have Program Change turned ON in your MIDI setup page. Another issue for program change - one person has told me program changes for him are only working on MIDI Channel 1, so please check this as well.

hallo, using win xp prof sp3, cubase 5. first time i connect solaris via usb everything works fine also in cubase. Then something goes wrong. After rebooting win wouldn´t load solaris (usb fail). Using another port win find it again. But in cubase it would not work. Connect it via midi works but program changes do not!

One customer is reporting difficulties using the Solaris via USB for MIDI with his DAW. I’d like to know if there are others in the group that are experiencing problems in this configuration.
