Thats really good news, because the ASB series are by far the best VAs on the market (and quite a few years now already) Maybe the Virus TI can get close, it has more specs, but the sound of the ASBs is amazing. I had the Minimax, Prodyssey and still have the PRO12 The minimax sounds really good nex...

a 48/96 internal switch would be okay i think, but I personally gonna favor the 96 HiQ output even if it costs some voices (well half of it i think) 15 voices will be more than sufficient for mono timbral work and even with 2 parts is is very good doable, more than 8voice poly a part i never use mys...

great videos, those encoders seem to do their job well. I will be happy to put up some nice sounds into the database when I get the machine :) I am mostly into soundscape/elektro "den haag style"/soundscores and just plain over the top tube gear mass destruction boombeats. I think I am in ...

One cannot compare a mass product like the Virus with a product that will be made by only a few 100 maybe in the first year of release. Take all those displays for instance, not very cheap to implement imho. Not to forget that I think the first batches of Solaris will be almost handbuilt.. Although ...

Yamaha Motif XS for instance, I love the editor BTW for the synth, I've got the rackmount edition of the XS. Dave Smiths (Poly) Evolver also, that one has a special destination that can be set to midi out, so you can use even 3 lines for the internal synth and 1 line for the midiout port. The Prophe...
