I like the new features for the layout. If I may chime in, and please do not take this the wrong way... I think you have done a wonderful job. In my opinion, some of the layout is a bit 'busy' and could be easily cleaned up.. Personally I don't like the angled lines. For example, the buttons above t...

I disagree with the above sentiments. The sampling engine is one of the most desirable features about the Solaris for me.. FM using samples as the modulator or carrier, having them fed into rotors with other samples, audio rate modulations.. all of these things are way beyond the realm of romplers, ...

Also, if you can see any of the pictures from the recent Frankfurt Messe, the unit I'm demo'ing on is the darker case with those slimmer square-edge endcaps. I'm not really fussed about the editor or librarian being PC first (as long as a mac version comes!), but I think it is VERY important for mac users to have a way to load samples / waveforms at the time of release. Will the solaris show up like a USB flash drive where you can just drop samples in? t...

Software Editor
Just interested in what functions the software editor will provide, apart from uploading waveforms / samples etc.
Will it be mac and pc (i am a mac person)?
Will it provide librarian functions?
Will it allow patch editing from the computer?

I think this is a good move. Ditch the olive for sure, creme / off white is MUCH better. Also, regarding the endpieces, I can't help but think the slimmer endpieces with squared edges (as shown in the rendered pictures) look way better than the wider, rounded endpieces that the photos of the prototy...

Hi John, Just wondering about a couple of things: 1. You mentioned in the NAMM video that Solaris will respond to 4 midi channels, does this mean true 4 part multitimbrality (ie 4 patches, each with its 4 osc/ mixer / filters etc)? 2. Regarding patch storage: If you have a multi-timbral mode, please...
