I wasn't able to find it; I thought it might be useful to promote the synth using the networking tool but all I find are Sun Solaris etc. groups.

I knew my house sale was taking too long. And it finishes next month... however, the 2999 Euro price is not changed? And the pound is getting stronger vs. the Euro again... so maybe. Racks lack expressiveness IME. I want the controllers to hand.

I addressed that in a comment elsewhere suggesting I'd want a rackmount synth, but then a plug in controller with X-Y, ribbon and perhaps patch selection as a small desktop unit, as remapping controllers is a PITA.

Racktop! No, I'm not just babbling words. The problem with a desktop is you gotta fit the synth in it. You can probably fit it all in a deep 2U rack, but then where's the interface?
