I'm putting the finishing touches on a program to rename presets and move them within a bank.

Re: would you be interested in SOLARIS editor ?

Rather than code an editor from scratch, i think it would be a good idea to create an editor with CTRL, an open source program that has a stand alone and vst plug in version. I think there will be a lot of midi cc and sysex bugs that would be better prototyped on this system.

Closed:freeze on preset change screen

The solaris freezes when I try to rename a preset. None of the buttons work once it freezes.

steps to reproduce
1) load a preset
2) press store twice to get to naming screen
3) turn any soft knob

Problems with effects channels

I don't think effects channels should be global. I want to be able to store delay, chorus, etc, for each preset so that when I recall that preset, its effects parameters are recalled. This could create an interesting problem when the solaris becomes multitimbral. The pads with delay sound amazing.

Re: Official Solaris keyboard User Manual

It cost me 12$ to print out the manual today and have it bound today. It's well worth it.

Re: how does the part enable functionality work?

So, to clarify. Is each part enable is a quick toggle that enables each mixer? I think I got it.

how does the part enable functionality work?

I've noticed that some of the presets have more than one part enabled. How do I create a preset with more than one part?

Closed: keypad can not enter [Time L] or [Time R] values

Version 1.0 Description: The keypad can't enter all values of delay times for fractional delay times when midi clock is on. entering values 0-14 do work, but anything greater than 14 will set the value of [Time L] or [Time R] to 1/4d . The display will also show that 14 is entered for any value abov...

I will volunteer to help moderate a bugz forum, but it should probably be private to owners only.

I found a small bug, how do I report it?

we need a forum for reporting bugs, and a process for verifying them. we should probably add feature requests too. I don't think that a forum is a good place for this. Perhaps fogbugz would be a good bug tracking tool for owners. http://www.fogcreek.com/fogbugz/ I suggest that all bug reports should...

Re: New INIT Preset update

It would take me very little time to write a .NET app to write all those folders. I think I'll do it this week. Actually Vbscript or powershell would probably be better.
