Re: Aluminum side panels (again)

Hi John,
I am still interested in the aluminum side panels. Glad to hear this may still go ahead!

Luke

Re: More rotors, more osc, more LFOs!

Well, the rotors are currently my absolute favourite thing on the Solaris. If a Scope system will give me a rotor boost, then it looks like I need to start saving up again! I'm totally in agreement with Mr. Scope4live - no matter how hefty or rotund things can get as is, I'll always be craving more,...

Re: Online Class

This sounds like a great idea & would be very useful for many, I suspect. Solaris has quite complex possibilities & thus far my time available for exploration has been limited. As you point out, setting a time that works for many could be difficult. Could a new set of tutorial videos serve a...

More rotors, more osc, more LFOs!

This is probably unrealistic. I am so obsessed with the rotors, I'd like to have 4 rotors, each able to choose 4 different oscillators as their inputs, even at the expense of some polyphony. I'm craving a veritable galactic whirlpool of swirling rotor mayhem! Also, more LFOs! Yes, more! Woo-hoo! Mor...

Re: display screens gets weird like "##@`!!!!"

Just received my Solaris. This is happening to mine as well, just the oscillator display, just from browsing through presets. Away from home now for another week nowso won't be able to re-evaluate.

Re: Announce when you receive your Solaris!

Celebrity in the house! She's home, finally... photo-2.JPG Sorry for the lame phone photo. Solaris deserves a professional photo shoot, maybe on a blizzard-blown mountain top with a manly explorer, frost-encrusted beard and sun-scorched skin, with the following text: "For the rarified heights o...

Re: Future Features - KEYBOARD INTELLIGENCE?

Although I'm more interested in exploring new territory with the Solaris, I have to agree that emulating the character of the CS-80 is an appealing goal, and I'm sure it would get Solaris a lot of attention. My own more humble future feature wish is for a whole lot more LFOs. Everywhere there's the ...

Re: Wish List For Next firmware update 2012

I might as well speak up here. I'm a preorder customer but haven't received my Solaris yet. I see Solaris as a modular polyphonic synthesizer, and while I think the ability to add user waveforms via samples is great, I, for one, do not want to see Solaris hijacked into being a rompler workstation. I...

Each time I hear a new demo of Solaris there's something that takes my breath away. I love the spacey chirps as well, but I absolutely love that etherial almost voice-like melodic line. Eager for more...

Hurray! I'm always happy to see new video of Solaris. It amazes me how that synth can scream & growl. Never heard anything like that from a digital synth before. Each new video makes me very glad I've got one on order. The rotors is what got me hooked first, then the modulation routings (& t...

That's a great surprise! For me, the notch is my favourite, so I can set it as a low pass but with a hint of high end sizzle. I'm really really interested in hearing how Solaris' version will sound. I definitely agree with John's statement about finishing up OS 1.0 & leaving further filter devel...

i understand from the specs page that Solaris' keyboard will generate monophonic aftertouch. i thought i had read somwhere that she will respond to polyphonic aftertouch over MIDI. i found this quote earlier in this thread... 4. Does Solaris receive polyphonic aftertouch (PAT) messages via MIDI and ...
