Re: Waldorf Wave Emulation

Will the 'stepped/smooth' interpolation option from the Microwave be added at some point?

Are user wavetables possible?

Do you plan to add the Shaper?

Thanks,

N.

Waldorf Wave Emulation

John, or anyone in the know, how much Zarg Quantum Wave type functionality will be included in the Solaris? I'm very much interested in getting as close as I can to the functionality of the Waldorf Wave or any of the Microwave series.

Re: Remaining first production pre-ordering

Please note that all units from the first build have now been reserved. Any pre-orders made after today will be for a late September delivery. Thank you to all who have pre-ordered, and I appreciate the support and enthusiasm that has been expressed for the Solaris! John B. John, I hoping to get on...

Re: Solaris Module?

A Virus TI keyboard lists for $3460US, and sells for $3140; The desktop model lists for $2520, sells for $2290; Given that the Solaris is currently at $4K, I think it would be a pretty amazing job on JB's part if he can get a 3u desktop model out the door for under $3K. The Virus TI desktop has all...

with that in mind, I would estimate a Solaris 2 or 3u rack module, with one graphics display and limited I/O, to run around $2300.

Re: Solaris Module?

I guess the bottom line at this point is pacifying the pre-order customers. They're a needy bunch, them.

Re: Solaris Module?

Alas, the Solaris will only be obtainable by the deep pocketed. Seems a real shame to target such a narrow market. A module priced at around $2295. street would not only get the Solaris in the hands of a lot more musicians/producers, but would also appeal to the considerable number of folks who don...

Re: Solaris Module?

I vote for an iPad app! A TouchOSC template would be easy enough to create. Holy kee-rapp! How did I miss this? I was planning on getting the iPad2, but now it's getting just so ridiculous! Better hurry up with that Solaris JB, before someone comes up with an app for that!! TouchOSC is just a...

One display works for me. I think a knobby layout like the Microwave XT or Origin would be the ticket.
Not likely to happen....it would be more of a minimal layout.
Is a minimal layout rack version being seriously considered?...I'd buy one.

Neutron wrote:maybe you could add DSP for a "even smaller than XITE-D" so people could connect to DAW and get a taste of scope plugs after permanent Solaris output.
I don't imagine blurring the lines between the two product lines is planned by JBSD or Sonic Core.
