Re: Vibrato thru aftertouch?
Yes, this is very strange : All the sources i try to use to modulate the level of V-LFO seems to not operate. ( apart the modwheel of course ) Try this : With a john init patch : 1. ModWheel not engage 2. Goto V-LFO 3. On the first modulation page, choose : a. Source1 : AT b. Amount : 120 c. Dest : ...

Re: No sound when the Solaris is switched on
Yes I had this one, 3 or 4 times. ( the first time i had a panic instant )
You have to reboot.
It's a known bug.
John tells us it's something to do with the boot procedure, it's on the list.

Notes missing when hold is engage
Let' try that :
Choose a lemon sound as the init sound for example.
Press the hold button.
Now play some chords with the left hand and some notes with the right one.
From time to time you can notice some notes are missing, aren't they ?

Wrong display on osc screen
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-x-OFyLvlpVw/Ub3Zw64lB3I/AAAAAAAAFJM/TQcHfH1GSJo/s720/IMG_5281.JPG?gl=FR It's the second time i see this problem. The only way i found was to reboot the Solaris. I was only passing from a preset to another when it happens. I was not able to reproduce that. Another ...

Re: Keytrack modulate a decay time
Thank you John. But i think there is another problem behind this : because of the random answer of the decay time, if it was only a key behind i should not have random answer when i trig the same note. Is the list you speak about visible somewhere ? It could be a great gain of time when someone find...

Keytrack modulate a decay time
Hi everybody, I have a strange problem : I want to create a sound for wich the decay time is shorter when the note is sharper ( a piano-like ) On the EG-6 i choose Delay: 0.0ms, Attack :0.0 ms, Decay : 8.0s, Sustain : 0, Release : 0.0 ms I assign KeyTrk to D-Src for the EG-6 On the next screen, i ch...

Re: Karplus Strong
Good news,
what do we need for KS sound :
feedback
modulation of delay time
modulation of feedback could be interesting.

Yes, if it's a bug, it won't be difficult to repair.

Re: Strange behaviour re. modulation OSCs 2,3 and 4
It is probably a bug, but with very little consequences, don't be worry, the solaris is the marvellous synth.

Re: Strange behaviour re. modulation OSCs 2,3 and 4
Yes little Gorilla, i've noticed this strange behavior, not the first one wich seems normal to me, but the second one wich look like a sort of bug. I say "sort of" because in fact this bug doesn't seem important for sound designing : we have four sources of modulation for each vco, and eac...

Re: Reverb....
The other effect I'd like is the ability to add delays per VCA, so that each mixer/insertfx can be delayed before or after the filter and fed back round into the mixer again for feedback. With very fine control over the timing etc. A bit like a more controllable comb filter I suppose. +1, this will...

Very nice demo.
Excellent thing if you can provide those sounds.
