Re: Developer Fund Update - Important!

Thanks for the update John, The version 3 (?) updates proposed look great. Sample playback seems like it would be lots of work and beyond the scope of this machine. I personally have played around with a Robertsonics Tsunami Sample Player module https://robertsonics.com/tsunami-user-guide/ plugged i...

Sequence .PAT file format

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows the format of the .PAT files used for the sequencer. I'd like to try adding in a bunch. I'm thinking of writing some code to make up these files maybe from some simple text description files or something.

I'm using OS 1.4.4

Cheers,

Steve.

Re: Saving preset in empty place OS 1.4.2

Just came across this "bug/feature". I was wondering where a patch was that I was playing with the other day. The machine will allow you to save it but when you change to another patch and come back it will not be there. I will file the banks up with INIT files ! Good to know it's a known ...

Key tables ? I am baffled

Howdy all, Recently our group has been interested in microtonal music and I was wondering if the Solaris was able to accommodate such ideas. The microtonal we were thinking about using was a straight forward octave made of more than 12 tones, evenly spaces. Not sure how that could be played to be ho...

Hard to keep up with all these updates. There's a complaint manufacturers rarely hear !

Thanks John and Jim.

Re: Developer Fund

I'd gladly pay for a new OS. Something not mentioned that I would love to see is multisample playback based on something like a SFZ file which allows multiple samples, loop points etc. I understand we are limited to 32M of memory for samples but that would be fine. The resulting SFZ multisample woul...

Patch Store

Howdy,

Just noticed this issue this morning with OS 1.4.0.1. When doing a Store patch operation I press Store and then use the jog to scroll through the current bank of sounds but if I use the -/+ keys only patch number changes and not the name.

Wonderful work on the new OS and previous updates, minorguy. Thank you very much !

The 0.11 executable doesn't appear to be in the Downloads section ?

Re: Could this be done?

I'd like a simpler feature of each of the four parts being able to be a assigned a separate midi channel.
