i think there is no use for a 'sequencer' in the solaris as you know it in grooveboxes or on you computer DAW... i think the 'sequencer' -kind that could be realy useful in the solaris is a (multi-track) stepeditor that can be routed to any parameter you want. it does not have to be note info. i mea...

a step sequencer ala evolver could bring a lot of extra life into the keyboard... the radikal technologies spectralis has like 30+ sequencerlines that can be assigned to any parameter you like... you can imagine what results come out of that... if you allow smooth steps you can basicly create modula...

installing the expansion in the G2 was easy. if it's documented well (pictures etc.) things should be fine. if any money can be made by cleverly engineering a tabletop/rack version, please do so. for me it would be easier to integrate computerwise, and also, i'm a fan of 'compact' ... i like my stud...

i would be very interested as well. but it should have the same DSP power, bells and whistles as the keyboard version, no compromise... something sized simmilar to the korg M3 desktop size maybe. i would also recommend studying the Nord Modular G2 panel layout, because IMHO it's the best in the worl...
