1. It's great to see the new and longer ribbon controller! 2. I love the chord mode. It was a cool feature on the Andromeda I sold. 3. I also applaud the addition of the vocal filter! Great work John and Solaris team! I really can't wait until June. I've been performing live with my band Haiku Chi a...

Chord stack, that's awesome John! Solaris a dream synth. It's come so far from where it started, even from when brought over to my place. John you are brilliant! Now I need to dig out my Weather Report "Black market" lp and listen to "Barbary Coast" for that stacked chord!

This is great news! The one thing I miss about my Andromeda is the long ribbon controller. Oh and being able to play a chord, hold it and press any key playing that chord. I wonder if something like this will be implemented in a future update?

Congrats on your pre-order 3rdConstruction. I use a mixture of analog and digital synths myself. The Solaris is the digital synth we've been waiting for. It has a great interface. It makes you want to turn knobs and touch the synth. It has the sound. Whether digital or analog is your thing, the Sola...

I have a question about the 24 bit 96 kHz internal processing of the Solaris. I am completely new to digital synthesis & am still learning. I've looked for similar specs on other digital synths like the Access Virus & Roland machines, but cannot find any similar specs reported. Can anyone t...

I agree with the idea of using vintage analog right alongside modern digital synths. I decided to sell my A6. Although it has far more modulation and routing capabilities, I love the sound of my Jupiter 8 and Minimoog. The Solaris will cover most of the sonic spectrum that's not already in my setup....

Thanks for the additional videos John. The filters sound awesome! Well as much as one can get from the audio. The sound of your voice is much better on these also. Can't wait to get my Solaris!

The Solaris looks amazing! I can't believe how classic it looks. Are the wood side panels on those units the actual ones being used for all limited edition models? I think it looks perfect. I hope there's video from NAMM 2009 coming soon.

Let's keep this discussion calm - synthman1 is only offering his opinion about what would make it more appealing and affordable to people like him. At least he is paying attention here, and I appreciate the interest in Solaris. john b. Understood. It would be interesting to see what would come afte...

A Solaris lite. No thanks! I applaud JB for sticking to his guns. He wanted to make the best synth possible. To cut corners just to sell more units is defeating the purpose of it. Before we try and redesign the Solaris, let those of us who spent our hard earned dollars to pre-order it, get our hands...

Amazing rendition! Joni Mitchell has a beautiful version of this song, featuring Jaco Pastorius on bass. It's on her album"Mingus". The sounds you get out of your software Solaris are always incredible. I can only imagine what the hardware version will sound like in the same room!
