Re: Developer Fund
Global FXs like reverb are generated by the sixth Sharc DSP, which seems to have lots of room for improvments. This is not the case with the other 5 Sharc DSPs that generate 2 voices each... So better FM/PD, CS80 filters, waveshapers, inline FXs, envelope shapes, LFO shapes all depend on these 5 DSP...

Re: Announcing another major update to the Solaris Operating System, v1.4.0!
My guess :
- Windows was set to hide known extension files.

Re: Developer Fund
Point 1) is an absolute requirement for me to fund the OS2 : I wouldn't go that way without 4-voice multitimbrality. I'm also in for point 5) but this is not as vital as point 1). We already have external multiFX units, but nothing could replace a multimode. Full analog drift is also something that ...

Re: Developer Fund
Ok for a 200$ commitment for the OS2.0. For the owners who don't want to fund the developement, they could purchase the update later for say 250-300$ (because you need funds now). For new Solaris owners, they could also choose to fund OS2.0 for 200$ when funding their Solaris. Now the features I'd l...

Re: other Solaris hardware ideas
As far as Solaris is already a kind of investment, I would only go for a blackbox -10/20 voice expander driven from Solaris front panel in Sysex with Midi overflow. It would be a waste of money (and maybe long-term maintenance) to have 6 more screens and 42 more encoders. Because I'm already a Solar...

Re: control change
Maybe we could think about a special Midi mode Preset in which Solaris only transmits Midi notes, program changes and CC, each knob assignable to a CC number displayed in the screens (CC number and value), with arrow buttons alternating betwen 4 sets of values...
