Re: would you be interested in SOLARIS editor ?
Did anyone manage to compile the program on Mac OS X?

Re: Developer Fund
Hi John, I would also be ready to fund 200$ to expand the development of the Solaris. Like many other owners, I would like to have multitimbrality and a more complex effect sections. Another feature could be a more complete FM process. Only then would it be interesting to have more than 1O voices (t...

Re: Question about panning modulation
In fact, I make an extreme test: panning completely left, and put the amount of the LFO à 100%. The sound goes full right as expected.
So my ears are the problem... Sorry.

Question about panning modulation
Hi, First, Happy new year to everyone. I want a given part to move in the left side of the stereo field. Let's say between 60L and 20L. So I set the VCA InitPan to 40L and add a LFO as modulation source. I try both an amount of 50% and -50%, but the part seems to move behind the range I fixed (in fa...

Stupid Filter Key Tracking Question
Hi,
In the filter parameter, it is possible to specify a value between -127 and 127 that defines the split point where the key tracking is applied. Is the default center value (0) C4 ? And do the values correspond in the number of semitones from that default center note ?
Thanks.

Problem with envelope reset in unison
Hi, I have a little problem concerning the envelope resets in unison mode. I have a patch where the attack time of envelope 6 (the one assigned to the VCA) is huge (say 20s). The patch is configured as polyphony, with "Legato" set to "Reassign" and "EgReset" to "Sh...

Bug when copying VCA parameters
Hi,
I found a little bug: when I copy the parameters of a VCA (wait until the led of the origin VCA flashes and then press the bouton of the destination VCA), the parameters of the second modulation source aren't copied.

Re: A way to see destination routing
Yes, it could definitely be something useful when studying existing patches to understand all the possibilities of the Solaris.

Re: Parameter Editing Problem
The midi loop seems to be the problem. When I break the chain "Solaris -> DAW -> Solaris" into "Solaris -> DAW", the problem disappear.

Parameter Editing Problem
Hi, I have a strange problem. Sometimes, it becomes impossible to modify the value of a given parameter (for example the coarse parameter of an oscillator or choosing the cut off as modulation destination for a filler). When I turn the corresponding knob, it is like as the value changes and returns ...

Re: Sequencer and holding a key
It's precisely because it works with the arpeggiator that I supposed it could work with the sequencer too. I am not a synth specialist, but I have no clue if one has this feature. I know a few ones, but no one has it. I used to use the sustain pedal, but it was not always practical. Now, I use a lit...

Re: Sequencer and holding a key
I understand. But it could be useful to launch a sequence and transpose it without the need to maintain the key down (this could free one hand to do something else). Anyway, certainly not the most important feature.

Re: OS updates, bugfixes & feats
I have manually create a 'Bank11' and 'Patch' directories, and Solaris has created my new patch in the right directory ('Patch11/Patch').

Re: OS updates, bugfixes & feats
I found a little bug in the current OS installed on my Solaris (1.2.1): When storing a patch, it is impossible to choose a bank number above 1O.

Sequencer and holding a key
Hi,
Currently, I cannot activate the 'Hold' mode with the 'Sequencer' one, while it is possible for the 'Hold' and the 'Arpeggiator' ones to be active simultaneously. Is there a reason or should this be a future feature?
