I would suggest just using the User pattern, as it is like an INIT pattern. Pattern 2 is a little bit unusual.
If you are running Windows, you can use the arpeggiator editor that Jim has updated. I just posted something for it here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17148

Re: OS2 :: Volume of parts in Multi not affecting vca ...
Yes, this has been fixed now. Jim is working on the next version for release, so it’s good to get any bugs you find noted here for him to check.
Thanks to all,

Update to the Arpeggiator Editor for 1.4.4 and v2.0
Jim H. updated the arpeggiator editor as of April 2020, and I apologize for not posting it here sooner. It works with the new SysEx implementation. Be advised it is only for Windows application. The factory CF card contains a folder for the Arp Patterns, and so you can create new ones with this edit...

Re: OS2 :: Volume of parts in Multi not affecting vca ...
the manual says "Volume adds or subtracts from all VCA levels of the Part" i think the approach was to avoid a multiplication in the calculation of final volume. i don't know if the add or subtracts on the modulation level could be easy to do ... I have been informed that what I wrote in ...

Re: V 2.0 strange behaviour when changing voice count
Yes, thank you. The added DSP is not getting the edited value. I guess for now you have to first select the voice count then make the VCA edits.

Re: Developer Fund Update - Important!
A couple features that I feel are important: 1. A function or functions that can offset parameters per voice such as pitch, envelopes, filter, etc. Basically, what Sequential did with the new Prophet 5/10 and the “Vintage” knob. It would give the Solaris a way to sound organic instead of being “per...

Addendum for v2.0.1 OS
Here is the v2.0.1 OS Addendum to the Solaris v1.4 User Guide. Let me know if you have any questions. Update: I forgot to mention - once you install v2.0.1, you will find the serial number and OS version info in the System pages (page 4), not in the Home page as before. Cheers, John Bowen Solaris v2...

OS update to 1.4.4.8
This is an update to the 1.4.4 release. Here are the changes: Fixed a bug in which incoming MIDI pitch change messages were echoed back out. Fixed a problem in which inserting the CF-card caused a preset to get loaded which would overwrite the edit buffer. Now, inserting the CF-card no longer automa...
