Learning others creation in sound sculpting is fun.
And with such great presets I will be festive.

Re: Having trouble getting my head around velocity!!
I use velocity to stretch the Jaw Oscillators' detuning since it is an Oscillator with several Saw waves. The harder you hit the note the more detuning you get. But using 2 different Oscillators could get the same effect, it's just the Jaw does this all in a single slot. This leaves me 3 slots for o...

Aderns' SynthSchool was done like this and those w/o headphones and mics' could text in realtime, any questions.
Definately doable......

Re: Announce when you receive your Solaris!
I used my box with 3 ribs for local gigs as the ATA Case from A & S Cases in Hollywood was too damn big and heavy, but a great case for 4 bones. My recent gig bag is from Colrado Case Company, seems geograpical named companys' make good kit. Anyways they have a great bag and they now have the di...

Re: Saving your Global INIT file
Now I am confused. I made Banks for Digital I/O and Analog I/O but my Boot Up Preset uses FX Channel 1 on Rotor Dreams. This way I can boot up into SP/DIF, which then goes TOSLink to HOSA ODL to XITE-1 AES/EBU It has: {FX Chan} FX Chan1 Input/Synth _____FX-1 Chor/Fla____FX-2 Phaser____FX-3 Delay___F...

Re: Saving your Global INIT file
Glad I read this.
Works perfectly well for me and it's nice having the Joystick, MIDI Channel, pedal assignments and polarity all ready.
Just to bust balls a little, have samples load in the future as it is so difficult having to do those extra 3 button presses.......
Just Kiddin'.

Re: Owners, Please Read!!
I was wondering where the Drum Kits are located, and how come a Yamaha Motiff has 1024 presets, and Solaris has less than 200.....??
Just kidding..

Re: More rotors, more osc, more LFOs!
It's why I have a Solaris TOSLink > XITE-1 AES/EBU where 18 x DSP Chips await.
I believe obesity in synthesis healthy, should be promoted more too.

I love that sound and the modulations are great.
Thanks, and these additions to Solaris would be incredibly useful.

I Want Solaris Mousepads
The T SHirt was cool, but a mousepad would be a great marketing ROI too maybe.

Re: Waldorf Nave
Post some snippets of presets that grab you. Then I can compare as I don't have an iPad. I am also a Wavetable geek, but only applying the modulations and FX that Scope DSP or Solaris bring to the table. But here's some Snippets using Solaris' Waldorf treats. http://soundcloud.com/jimmyvee/wormhole ...
