From SOS review 2012 on Solaris :
One of the things I loved on early Oberheims was the cycling of voices that were a little bit 'off', so I hope that we will see things like analogue randomness appearing on the Solaris.”

Re: AM/Ringmod help
I’d be very grateful if you could check this. Would even add it in the manual, it’s another great selling point :) Was reading an article in SOS the other day on how modern synths reset their lfo’s upon note release or note on. Is this something that can be switched off on the Solaris ? Example belo...

Re: Developer Fund Update - Important!
Hello John, Just made a donation to Jim Hewes. He did a fantastic invaluable job indeed. Obviously the above news is great news and personally I will chip in when you need me too, 200 or higher would not be an issue for me or probably most of us ( I mean we all own the Lamborghini of synths here). I...

Re: Ring Modulation...and more!
I got X-MOD on my JP-8000, sounds extremely digitally agressive when I play it. But might investigate again to see if I can get JP-6 results but I doubt it :p

Re: A way to see destination routing
If I'm not mistaken someone wrote a piece of soft that shows the modularity & routing of the solaris visually. sadly enough I can't find the link anymore. it does not show whats going in your patch but it makes it easier to reverse engineer certain things.

Re: Multitimbral
have you guys seen the AFX (aphex twin mode) that was released on the novation bass station ? What do you guys make of that ? It might have less use on a big poly monster like the solaris. But it opens up creativity : "AFX Mode is the realisation of James’ out-there concept. Put simply, it lets...

Re: hold store to save 3s without having to go through 4 steps
Ah but the Solaris is not like a lot of systems out there . It would be nice to have both options indeed. Quick save makes a lot of sense on a machine that is made for sound design. Preventing replacement of the store button in the future too imho.
