Re: New version of the OS ? Soon or not ?

Nice to see some discussion in this topic for a while. Just want to say that if that is what it takes, I am ready to pay 100 usd for a new OS version that has the bugs fixed. I do not necessarily need new features, but I can consider paying more for a new OS version that would have new features, suc...

Re: CF card FAQ

Thank you for the information John. The actual reason why I bought the new card was to get a backup card, but at the same time to check if it could give more speed too. Anyway, I find that the speed of scrolling through patches in Solaris is similar to Andromeda. They are not necessarily the quickes...

Re: CF card FAQ

I just received the Sandisk 400x card. So far it seems to work exactly like the Kingston 266x card that I had first. Is it enough to just copy the files manually from card to another, or does Solaris use some hidden files etc. on the card? Now I just copied the files from the old card to the new one...

Re: CF card FAQ

What is the maximum speed of CF card that the Solaris can still make use of? I am about to order a CF card reader and 1-2 backup cards. I do not know what is the speed of the card that came with the Solaris, but I plan to try some very fast 800x card to increase the speed of scrolling through preset...

Re: Andromeda owners and Solaris , please share your thoughts !

What I would want in Solaris is more mod destination slots for oscillators. I often consume most of them while creating my custom drift / vibrato function. I may be wrong or just misunderstanding this---I don't have my Solaris yet. But if you have a spare Mixer, can you use that to mix modulators a...

Re: Andromeda owners and Solaris , please share your thoughts !

just a little note from somebody who own now the solaris, p12 and two A6: there are all different beasts, but on thing comes into my mind: - love the p12 with the nice slop parameter (random detune) - love the A6 but never push the autotune !! - love the solaris, this machine sounds so unbelievble ...

Re: Announce when you receive your Solaris!

Those green lights look amazing with the black synth! Hi, thanks. I agree. I did not actually even know the color of the wheels when I went to pickup the synth. The only thing I was told it was the dark version, and in good condition. I was positively surprised about the condition, and also the gre...

Re: Announce when you receive your Solaris!

Hi guys! I just recently picked up a Solaris second hand here in Finland. I must say that the situation came in front of me quite fast, and I still am quite confused. It is very hard to realize that I actually own a Solaris! I need to keep checking on my side, where it is on a stand that it really i...
