Re: What power-adaptor for the Solaris?

Are you saying the 2.5 x 5.5 connector did NOT work for you?!? Because that is the correct size for the Solaris as far as I have experienced. I checked 2 different supplies, and they both are 2.5 x 5.5. With a 9.5 length as well. To answer your other question - yes, you should be able to use any sup...

Re: What power-adaptor for the Solaris?

Yes, my understanding is to have more Amps is OK. You just don’t want to have too little amperage.

Alternate Power Supply

Everyone, Since I do get this question often, I am going to put this in the Announcement section so it is easy to find. It seems that Sunny no longer makes the model we were using that is found in the thread 'What power-adaptor for Solaris', and I’ve had reports that the proper connector plug (which...

Re: Filter glide?

I know this is something especially important if you want to use the filter in full resonance as the ‘oscillator’. The best you can do for the moment is to send the Note mod source through a Lag processor, then use the Lag to modulate the cutoff. However, I think this will give more of an exponentia...

SD to CF card adapters

I was chatting with someone the other day about the Solaris using the CF card format, and why we didn’t go with an SD card format. Well, at the time of our design work, using the SD card format required a large royalty to be paid for use (I seem to recall it was around $16,000?), so we just went wit...

Re: OS 2.0.2 - Poly AT modulating incorrect parts

I found another poly AT issue that I hope I can describe clearly. I have a 3-part sound: - Part 3 in the lower range of the keyboard - Part 2 in the middle range - Part 1 in the upper range - Both parts 1 & 2 are Poly AT modulated. When I send Poly AT to Part 2 – it modulates any notes played i...

I just realized that perhaps I did not understand your statement. Are you saying you would like the sequencer to continue playing as voices enter their Release stage?
