White touch strip on white solaris - what do you think?

Hi all,

I wondered if other people who are interested (or ordered, like me) the white Solaris would prefer the touch strip to be white too. It looks good on the dark solaris but, imo, out of place on the white one. Especially when I look at the old white design on the home page (without touch strip) I think one might agree this looks better.
John told me they once considered making a different one on the white, but they turned out not to. He is investigating if it's possible to still make a white one after I we discussed this.

So please let me know what you think!

IMHO the grey strip fits very well with the white Solaris. It fits with the dark grey buttons / pots / graphics.
This is a photo of my studio - you can also see the Andromeda has a dark strip / light steel panel.

I made some photoshop comparison. Let me know what you think.
Sorry for the slight cool/warm color difference in the first two pics.

@ synthwalker
amazing rack, love the kobol

I agree it fits the Andromeda good since this already has black strips in the print. The balance on the white solaris is mostly white with black details. The touch strip feels the other way around. If it was thinner or shorter it would fit better (aesthetically, not functionally) imo.
But hey, if the hadn't made it this beautifull i would never have bothered.

And since i have the layers in pshop, i thought i'd add this one. 'Naked'. John told me he could deliver the solaris without the strip assembled. I asked if this was an option, since I am one of those users that rarely uses the touch panel on his voyager.
@syntmaster i think this photo is your solaris too, right? I just recognized the kronos above it. And oberheim.. it must be. I googled large solaris images and this one came up high. Please don't see this as a 'let me take your solaris and i'll show you i'm right' kind of action. I am just interested in everyone's opinion.
