Solaris Prototype Demonstration Number Three

All sounds generated by the Solaris. I used an MPC-1000 to arrange the
percussion. No pitch changes or filtering outside of the Solaris. The Sine
bass and interval/filter sweep (which I think is a Prophet-5 preset anyway!)
are two presets I'm working on.

This tune make such use of the Comb Filter that Giorgio Moroder would
have to take notice. I can't wait to run my guitar through that. The only
effect I used was my reverb unit (t.c. electronic M-One)

With a nod to Harry Hosono ..

Aaarrrgh!

What's an M4a file? Firefox won't play it natively. What's the "helper app"? :?

Ahhh. I'll have to go upstairs and check it out later then. :)

I damaged my back yesterday and I'm flat on my back in the middle of my living room with a heating pad and a tiny Linux netbook running Firefox.... :(

Man, I am dieing to play the Solaris again...I'm already making up patches in my head!

wow this is actually a good track! :)

ah i read now, the comb filter for that moroder effect, this sound awesome! Really nice. It does reminds me of my MAM RS3 resonater / Korg Resonator Clone....(wow 3x combfilter + 12/24db multimode is incredible when i think about it!!)

Its really awesome .. one of my plans for my Solaris is having it on a stereo effects loop on my mixer .. I don't know of any other 'flanger' of 'phaser' that comes close to this sound. Ever run two tapes with the same material and the played with the speed control on one of them? Thats what I hear (and more) with this comb filter.

Working on another tune .. John is coming tomorrow to take back the prototype.. thank you for the time with it John!
